BB Sabina Step Into the Unknown with Transcendent New Single ‘Beyond’

Melbourne based trio BB Sabina return with an emotionally charged new single, “Beyond” a track that marks their continued evolution as genre bending explorers.

Following the success of their previous release “Multitude”, “Beyond” sees BB Sabina dive deeper into a sound that blends shoegaze, post rock, and alternative influences, channeling the spirit of artists like Sonic Youth, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and PJ Harvey.

At the song’s core is Beth Uhe’s powerful and vulnerable vocal performance, which cuts through the haze with clarity and emotional resonance. Lyrically, “Beyond” is a meditation on creative transformation and the search for personal freedom, written during a time when Beth was living alone for the first time and grappling with the past while reaching for something greater.

BB Sabina recorded the track across Kakadu Studios and a home studio setup, with production and engineering handled by the band themselves, along with Sean Hutton. It was mixed by Aden Senycia (Love Shack Studios) and mastered by Joe Carra (Crystal Mastering), resulting in a polished yet atmospheric listening experience.

Originally formed in the Northern Territory, BB Sabina began as Beth’s solo project before evolving into a fully fledged band with the addition of Warrick Newman (bass/synth) and Travis Germaine (drums). Since relocating to Melbourne in 2020, the band has honed their chemistry and built a reputation for raw, captivating live performances.

Fans can catch them live at the Single launch on Friday 27th June, and at Leaps and Bounds Music Festival on Saturday 26th July
