Playlunch Announce ‘Sex Ed’ National Tour, Promising Their Biggest Shows Yet

Melbourne’s tongue in cheek ‘bogan funk’ seven-piece, Playlunch, have unveiled their biggest headline tour to date, set to sweep across Australia this September in celebration of their upcoming sophomore album, 'Sex Ed', which is anticipated to release August 22.
Known for their nostalgic 'Australiana' themes and genre blending party anthems, Playlunch are taking things up a notch, promising packed out venues, new material performed live for the first time, and a production scale unlike anything fans have seen from the group before.
“We’ve worked crazy hard on this record for the past year, these shows are not only going to be in wild venues, but they’ll be absolutely packed with surprises, stacked with new songs, and a celebration of everything Playlunch stands for, fun, freedom, and a bit of cheek.”
Joining them on the road is Brisbane alt pop duo JUNO, who first impressed the band at BIGSOUND 2024 and will bring their shimmering sound to the full tour lineup.

The announcement rides the wave of momentum from Playlunch’s viral hit 'Keith', an absurd and hilarious tribute to the nosy neighbor archetype, which clocked over 100k streams and 120k YouTube views in its first week.
With a music video cameo from AFL icon Barry Hall and a Triple J rotation add, 'Keith' reintroduced their debut album 'Who’s Ready For A Good Time?' to the charts and media spotlight alike.
