Sleepazoid From New Single '3AM' to BIGSOUND

Following a record breaking year, marked by sold-out shows supporting Faye Webster, and a debut EP, Melbournes Sleepazoid re-emerge with their latest single '3AM', a shoe-gazed track honoring the hours where the world turns quite and minds turn louder

'3AM' differs from the bands previous releases, drifting into a moodier, more grounded track compared to their previous released 'Running with the dogs'. Produced by Jack Nigro (Sonora Studios) and mastered by Joe Carra, the single leans more into a dream like state, while lyrically creating a scene that's both feels familiar and cinematic in nature.
“That familiar late night party when you're not really sure where the night will go, but you have hopes"
‘3AM’ is a showcase and a vivid example that Sleepazoid are no longer testing their footing, but confidently expanding their sound. France’s urgency floats over George’s synth harmonics and the band’s signature tri guitar framework, now reimagined with more space, texture, and cohesion.
This release also marks the beginning of a new chapter for Sleepazoid, with a quickly growing fanbase, fulled by Triple J rotation, and Spotify editorials with praise coming from singles such as 'ALICE' and 'RATS', the band now prepares for two launch shows in Melbourne and Sydney, ahead of their set at BIGSOUND in 2025 this September.

- Friday 22nd August at Shotkickers – Melbourne
- Saturday 23rd August at The Loft UTS – Sydney
