The New Condition Steps Into the Spotlight with Single 'Maybe'

Australian born, Los Angeles based director and producer Fletcher Moules best known for helming Kid Cudi’s Emmy Award winning 'Entergalactic' and YouTube’s billion view Clash of Clans universe is now turning the camera inward with his music project, The New Condition. He recently unveiled 'Maybe', a melancholic synth pop single that bridges two decades of creative evolution.
Originally written nearly 20 years ago, 'Maybe' is the only track from The New Condition that Moules carried forward from his past.

A song he once thought would never leave the notebook, it has since matured into a warm and layered reflection. Built on nostalgic synth keys, crisp electronic percussion, and unfiltered vocals, the track moves between longing and joy, offering a deeply personal yet universal resonance.
The single arrives polished by industry heavyweights, mixed by Mark Saunders (The Cure, Depeche Mode, Erasure) and mastered by Matt Colton (Blur, Charli XCX, New Order). The result is a sound that feels both timeless and distinctly contemporary, a bridge between memory and modernity.
Accompanying the release is a music video crafted with the help of AI tools, a subject Moules approaches thoughtfully. Using his own imagery and licensed material inside Google’s 'Veo3', he created a surreal cinematic journey that meditates on life, mortality, and connection.

From ants carrying leaves to a symbolic plunge off a cliff, the visuals reflect both the song’s vulnerability and Moules’ filmmaking roots. As he explains, AI
can be a great tool that empowers independent artists to tell high-end stories, as long as it is created responsibly
Before his film and animation career, Moules was a musician first. His teenage band Vapourware won Triple J 'Unearthed' and toured alongside acts like Cut/Copy. With The New Condition, he reconnects with that early creative drive, this time with the experience of two decades of storytelling behind him.
